About

Nard’s Backyard BBQ brings the authentic backyard barbecue experience to the streets of Greenville and beyond. Founded by Randall “Nard” Knight, a lifelong pitmaster with over 20 years of experience, the truck is powered by a custom-built smoker and a passion for cooking low and slow. Randall’s journey began in his own backyard, where friends and family urged him to share his legendary barbecue with the world—today, he competes in BBQ competitions across South Carolina and caters events of every size.

The menu is packed with Southern staples: pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs, smoked chicken, and tender brisket—all kissed by smoke and packed with flavor. But Nard doesn’t stop at classics. Fan favorites like loaded BBQ nachos and his signature BBQ sundae (a layered masterpiece of meat and homemade sides) give street food a smoky, inventive twist. Whether it’s a festival, wedding, or backyard party, Nard’s Backyard BBQ delivers flavor that feels like home.
